The Winey Cow | Urban List

There is certainly no lack of abundance of incredible cafes on the Gold Coast, but every now and then, a new spot opens up which really catches our eye. The Winey Cow is just that. If the name didn’t already pique your interest, let us enlighten you.

The OG Winey Cow was founded in 2014 in the Mornington Peninsula, and quickly secured a name for itself as one of the most lauded brunch restaurants in Victoria. Their impressive stack of awards including Cafe of the Year in Victoria and Best Breakfast Restaurant in Victoria are testament enough. Nine years later, these champions of brunch have opened in Main Beach and are set to shake up the vibrant Gold Coast breakfast scene.

Their expansive menu showcases all your classic breakfast and all-day favourites elevated with innovative twists. Think—stuffed mushrooms with salted ricotta and walnut crumble, limoncello and coconut waffles with passionfruit jelly and pork belly bao buns with crispy crackling. For those special occasions (or just Monday, because Mondays) you can level up your brunch with The Winey Cow’s Boozy Brunch special. Sip on endless mimosas for an hour with any main meal for the cheeky price of $49 and thank us later. Oh, and they pour a very smooth coffee, of course.

The cherry on top is the almost-sounds-good-enough-to-eat doggy menu filled with pup-friendly snacks like Peking duck wing and lamb shank bone. Because your furry best friend deserves to feast too.

It’s time to unfold a napkin at Main Beach’s slick newcomer, which is set to become your new favourite brunching spot.
